Whatever.
I was out riding yesterday, and inspired by the boat picture from Ken,
Ken's Cottage PAGE, I tooled on down to the dock to see who was in town.
This is some kind of sea food processing barge, I think. Does that 'flash freezing'.
This is the WA state Ferry that was in another shot from Main street.
One can never be sure wether this cat will accept petting gracefully or not. Sometimes, it's all claws and teeth.
Today all forms of attention were welcomed.
This TV sat beside the bed in the guestroom. Took up too much space. Ann suggested that it might fit atop these two
bookcases. I said, 'No way'. The fact that it sits where it does says it all. Moral? Always listen to your wife, of course!
She also suggested that the TV be fastened to the wall, in case of earthquake. You will notice that it is securely
attached to the wall, as advised.
This shows where the TV used to reside. Now there is plenty of room for a bedside table and a few guitars.
The following discussion is a follow up to climate questions from around the country. And explains why I went riding today.
The question is; What's normal?
Is twenty degrees in January normal? Twenty below?
Is 55 degrees normal? 75?
What exactly is normal, anyway?
It was so normal here today, we decided to uncover the scooter and move it back onto the street, for easy access.
Since the sun was out, and all, a quick trip around town seemed in order.
Decided to try and take a few pictures while under way. The first one was a bit shaky, didn't allow for the affect of the wind.
Note the speed, over sixty when the shutter clicked.
After things got stabilized, a shot of Hiway 20 on the way into town.
Here's what I saw at the end of main street today. That's a ferry in drydock. Also notice the vintage of some of the
vehicles on the street. No rust, here. My MI wintered rust bucket Saab, is an anomaly.
The same shot backed off shows the Honda parked on the right.
